Thursday, June 27, 2013
2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. (EST)
This webinar will demonstrate the importance of integrating routine screening and brief intervention services into employee assistance programs to improve client outcomes. The goal of SBIRT is to universally screen clients regardless of their presenting concern, for substance use and depression using evidence based screening tools and to provide appropriate interventions. The webinar will introduce SBIRT and implementation strategies, highlighting two successful programs in Colorado. Participants will learn about the successes of these programs and solutions to commonly perceived barriers to implementation.
